Full Time Role (.8 FTW also available)

As we enter a growth phase, Climate Zero is seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to expand our client portfolio across various industries, primarily in Australia.

Reporting directly to our Managing Director, you will not only lead Climate Zero’s expansion but also influence our product and service development through valuable customer insights.

In this pivotal senior sales role, you will be instrumental in driving Climate Zero’s sales and revenue growth. Your expertise in consultative sales will be key to acquiring new clients in need of accurate carbon accounting, climate literacy education, and related decarbonisation services.

You will be working with a team of experts creating solutions to help businesses make the transition to the net zero economy.

What we’re looking for

You will be responsible for all new sales and for the right person you will have an opportunity to build the sales and account management function within the business.

You are a passionate advocate for Australia’s decarbonisation transition, driven to make an impact with industry leading technology. Your strong network and a track record of success in consultative and solution selling makes you a standout. You have a good understanding of sustainability and are familiar with carbon accounting and decarbonisation concepts.

You are self-motivated and driven to achieve results while simultaneously working collaboratively as part of a small team. You thrive in environments where you have the opportunity to operate both at a strategic level and at a practical level. You are willing to assist in developing operational and process efficiencies as is the ongoing need of an evolving climate tech business while staying focussed on your priorities.
